Press conference to launch the cruise season
A press conference for the start of the 2019-2020 cruise ship season was held on 22 October at the newly-renovated cruise terminal. Renovation of the terminal was completed on schedule thanks to the efforts of the port’s technical and maintenance departments.
This was the occasion for GPMDLR to renew its partnership agreement with Reunion Tourism Federation, the organisation that is in charge of welcoming cruise passengers.
Inaugural port calls
44 cruise liner port calls are scheduled until the end of the season in April 2020, including 7 vessels visiting Reunion for the first time.
